Boy did I have a wild day. It started off nice and swell at Thunderbird, a local coffee joint owned by Ryan McElroy, a childhood friend of my dad's. I sat around in the dirt while they talked about all the old people from the neighborhood.
After that we headed to the senior center to see gramma Rohlich in her element, at the bridge tables. She gave us a tour and we saw lots of game rooms and friendly people.
Then I met baby Sadie and her parents Liz and Sascha. I stayed in the backyard and played with all the cat toys I could find while they visited with the sleeping baby.
Next up we went to see Beth and Kaya. We went to a dog park where I got bit by a mean little pit bull mix. I bled a little bit, but I'm ok.
After dinner at el Patio was the real adventure. Dad tried to pull me into gramma's house without putting my harness on and I slipped out of my collar! I ran around the neighborhood, not listening to one word they yelled at me, for the next 30 minutes. Before they both puked from running so far I cornered myself in a garage and gave up. I'm not sure why I did it but I feel kind of bad because they seemed pretty scared. I was tired after that so while they played card games and dominoes with gramma, i slept. Tomorrow, on to New Orleans and hopefully no more time off leash!!
